How much does it cost to buy music?Songs usually cost from $1.99 unless there is a special discount. You will always see the price of the music item before you buy it.
The special thing about C4 Music Store (on your mobile) is that you make one payment for a song and receive two files: one over-the-air (OTA) download for your mobile, and one unrestricted MP3 file for your PC/computer (DRM-free). You can then use your purchased music however you like, listening to it on your mobile phone, sharing it with another PC, burning it to CD or transferring to any personal media player.
Ringtones usually cost $4.50. Realtone ringtones sound like the song sounds on the radio or on TV, as opposed to Polytone ringtones that sound like layered instruments.
What happens when I click the ‘BUY TRACK’ or ‘BUY RINGTONE’ button?After clicking the ‘BUY TRACK’ or ‘BUY RINGTONE’ button on C4 Music Store (on your mobile) you go to a new page where you can click on the option to ‘Purchase’.
When you click ‘Purchase’ you go to a new page where you re-confirm by clicking on the price of the item. There is an option to click on ‘info’ if you want more details about what you are buying or the download process.
After you have clicked on the price of the item you go to a new page with confirmation of your Vodafone account being charged and download instructions how to get the track on to your mobile.

2. click on ‘My Music’
3. enter your ‘My Vodafone’ log-in details, or if you have not got a log-in you can easily get a user-name and password- click ‘Register’
4. once you are logged in you will find an online library of all your purchased mp3 tracks and albums ready for you to download
You can download the mp3 you have bought as many times as you need to. If you loose your phone with all your music on it you can log-in to ‘My Music’ and download it again.
The ‘My Music’ online mp3 library only has mp3s of your purchased full tracks and albums, not ringtones.
Please note: purchased ringtones are only delivered to your mobile in a file format that is locked to your mobile and cannot be shared.
How long does it usually take to download a song to my mobile?The average song (full track) size can be between 2 - 4 MB.
When you download a song ensure you have between 1 - 4 mins to allow the download to process (times are estimates and are dependent on song size). You need to be in 3G coverage for the duration of the download.

What happens if an error occurs and my download fails or I cannot complete my purchase?There are a few reasons why a download may fail.
If you're downloading to your mobile, you might be out of 3G coverage. You need to be in 3G coverage to download music.
Another reason might be that the network might be too busy. If this is the case, if you saw a screen on your mobile that said:
‘Your account has been charged.
IMPORTANT: click the link below to download your single. Don’t forget to save/store once the download is complete.
Download Now!’
If the download or save doesn’t work properly you can re-download at any time from your ‘My Purchased Trax’ on the music store.
At the bottom of C4 Music Store (on your mobile) click on the link to My Purchased Trax. In ‘My Purchased Trax’ are links to all the songs (full tracks) you have previously purchased. You can download them again as many times as you need to.
Ringtones - After your first download attempt, if it fails you have up to one hour after the initial purchase/transaction to download the ringtone again, during which time you will not be re-charged.
If you're downloading the mp3 file to your PC, the internet connection may be slow and cause a ‘time out’, or there could be a system issue. Whatever the reason, don't worry, once you've purchased the song or album you can try downloading it again by going to:

You can re-download your mp3 files again at any time. You can download them as many times as you like to the same PC- there is no time limit in which you must download your songs.
‘My Music’, the online version of ‘My Purchased Trax’ does not store your purchased ringtones.
How can I search for music that isn’t on the C4 Music Store (on my mobile)?The C4 Music Store (on your mobile) does not have a ‘SEARCH’ function on it, but at the bottom of the page is a link, ‘Click here for Hot Trax & Song Search’ which takes you to the search box on the Vodafone Music Store which has over one million tracks.
