C4 & TV3 Halts release date for Season 3 for 5 Months - DVD set!!
according to TimeOut 11th March news article it says
'The parallel-programmed C4 has been handed the show as a hand-me-down from TV3, which also asserts its broadcast rights to delay the local DVD and Blu-Ray release of the show it had effectively shelved for more than a year'
I preordered the digipack version of Heroes Season 3 in September 2009 with a release date in November 2009.. then I got an email with a new release date for the end of Feburary 2010..
then finally when feb 2010 rolls around I got an email saying the release date was uncertian!
I thought that it had to do with NBC working on the DVD set to be released, and they where still finalizing things for the special features however after reading the above I was shocked to learn that a National
Broadcaster could stop the release of DVD sets!
how long are you guys going to hold us to ransom by delaying the DVD set release? am I expected to get it any time soon or is it a case of 'Heroes will return later in the year?'
I as others wouldn't mind some answers to the above questions..
sorry that my first message has to be a flame but its frustrating and people would like anwsers.. please please let the dvd shops be able to sell them now since Heroes is starting on monday

Hi Gordon,
It is normal practice for distributors to not allow the DVD release of shows before they have been broadcast, if there is a free to air broadcast partner.
Heroes is starting tonight on C4 at 8:30pm (Monday March 15th), so there will be a bit of a delay.
We hope you enjoy the show.
